St. Louis dates added

Van Halen makes a date with St. Louis. The show was just added by the band for their upcoming spring tour. The St. Louis show will be April 29th at the Scottrade Center. Tickets are on sale Saturday February 4th at 10am through the box office, Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800.745.3000. Also, if you haven’t heard yet, Red Hot Chili Peppers will be taking to the Scottrade Center May 25th. Tickets for that show go on sale this Saturday.

Forthcoming album

Garbage has a new album on the way, the first in seven years, and with it comes a new record label. The band said on their Facebook page that they, like many others out there, have had their fair share “greedy corporate interests,” so they’re birthing their version of a lable called Stunvolume. Garbage producer and drummer is legendary Butch Vig who has produced albums for The Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Nirvana and most recently he produced The Foo Fighters’ Wasting Light. Front woman Shirley Manson, who is still hot, is still with the band. Expect the new Garbage album this spring.

Out today

Speaking of new albums ... Don’t forget that Lamb of God’s new album Resolution comes out today! Be sure to pick that up and rock your face off! If you want to sample it before picking it up, the band is streaming the entire album through AOL.
