August 23, 2010 Music News from the Rock Station, 92-7 WQLZ by Bishop Zombie plays God Rob Zombie is lending more than his directing talents to the big screen. In the soon-to-be film festival favorite “Super,” Rob Zombie's voice will be the voice of God. The film, directed by James Gunn, stars Raine Wilson (better known as Dwight form “The Office”) as a dweeb who ends up becoming a super hero. His wife, played by Liv Tyler, hooks up with a drug dealer, played by Keven Bacon, and the story continues to develop from there. Ellen Page also stars in this quirky comedy as Wilson's sidekick. The film, which features Zombie as the voice of God, surely will be a huge hit with the film festival circuit. “Super” premiers at the Toronto Film Festival next month.
