August 19, 2010 Music News from the Rock Station, 92-7 WQLZ by Bishop Going down ... again A year after an epic fall off the Sturgis stage, Aerosmith has had yet another off-staging incident. Steven Tyler reportedly was knocked off a stage in Toronto Tuesday, not by dancing around as was the case last year at Sturgis, but by his guitar player Joe Perry. In the middle of “Love in an Elevator,” Perry hip-checked Tyler causing the 62-year-old to teeter of the stage into the crowd. Best thing about this is it was caught on tape! Some think they look like your great grandmother who has smoked for years, but their behavior as of late would indicate they were 5-years-old. UFO sighting Ozzy was able to conjure up something out of this world at an Ozzfest show in California Saturday ... it was an unidentified flying object! Spectators said that a triangular aircraft with round tips and flashing lights that was much higher in the air than conventional aircraft was seen hovering over the concert for a moment before it ducked down below the tree line. Interestingly enough, this is not the first time a UFO was sighted at an Ozzfest. Back in 2004, there was what the History Channel calls one of the best documented UFO sightings as concertgoers headed to their cars outside Tinley Park they saw a similar triangular craft hovering in the air for 20 minutes. Topping the charts Zach Wylde has something to gloat about. Black Label Society's most recent album “Order of the Black” has landed at No. 4 on the Billboard top 200. That's near the top of the charts with only 33,000 sales in the first week of sales. Catch the Music Minute every weekday with the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show on 92-7 WQLZ, the Rock Station. |
