It wasn't Axl's fault

So, there was a bit of a problem during Friday's show at the Rock 'N Rev festival for the 70th Sturgis Bike Rally. Apparently the Guns 'N Roses concert that was supposed to start at 11 Friday night didn't get started for an hour and a half later … and everybody blamed Axl. The crowd also got to the point where they were throwing cans and bottles at the stage. Well the record must be set strait, it wasn't his fault! One of the festival's founders told the Rapid City Journal that there was a technical issue that was being worked out that caused the late start. Last year's Sturgis marked the moment when Aerosmith's Steven Tyler fell off the stage prompting cancellations and rehab. Still no word yet if Guns 'N Roses will cancel any future shows and start looking for a new singer.

TV has gone 3D

And Jane's Addiction is all over it. The second episode of “Guitar Center Sessions” in 3D will feature Perry Farrell and the boys for a studio session. Of course, you have to have the premium high definition TV and satellite channel from DirecTV, but you got some time to either buy all that stuff or just find a new friend with cool toys. Though it was filmed in May, the show featuring some acoustic performances and interviews, will air in September. Surely this is just the beginning of 3D home entertainment, so you should start saving now so you can be the cool kid on the block. Give me a call when you do get that TV! I'll bring the drinks!
