Remember the story from last month where AC/DC's caravan was stopped on a roadway in Romania, told to pay a toll of a couple thousand dollars, then allowed to go forward? Well, there has been some resolution from that hinky story of the highway from hell! The group of four idiots who thought it would be a good idea to 'eff around with the world's biggest rock stars have been fired while another civil service employee involved in the case has been demoted. Now they should all be thrown into a dark dungeon and tortured with crappy food and Lady Gaga and forced to write on the black board “we do not treat our Australian rock star guests that way” over and over again. AC/DC's troupe was told to pay 2,500 euros and never received a receipt. It's not clear if they received a refund, but they Rowdy bunch Last week, central Illinois and the whole world witnessed history happen on the big screen. After a couple of decades of touring the world and rocking peoples socks off, The Big Four played several shows over in Europe and their show in Bulgaria was broadcasts around the globe! Well, the anger, frustration and rage that Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth and Metallica exude seemed to have been too much for one central Illinois audience to handle. Have you heard about this? Well, down in Batavia, Illinois, close to the end of the four-and-a-half-hour show police were called in to take care of some rowdy patrons. Apparently some of the peeps broke a seat, tore up armrests on other seats and poked holes in the screen. Police were also told by theater management that people were drinking alcohol in the theater and illicitly filming the broadcast. No one was arrested and refunds were issued. Way to not let us down, Big Four fans! You really showed the world your true colors! Catch the Music Minute every weekday with the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show on 92-7 WQLZ, the Rock Station. |
