June 2, 2010 Music News from the Rock Station, 92-7 WQLZ by Bishop Reunion? This would be a dream come true for a bunch of you older rockers … hell, even some of you younger pups may be wishing for this to happen. Well, now there is a bunch more hope than there ever has been. Ozzy has been talking with Rolling Stone Magazine about the possibility and potential of a Black Sabbath reunion. Ozzy stopped by the magazine to talk about his forthcoming album “Scream” but also talked about Dio and that you can never rule anything out when it comes to a reunion. Ozzy said “I never say never anymore because you never know what's going to come around.” Ozzy will be playing some choice Sabbath songs while out touring, but the idea of the band getting back together is extremely enticing and would, no doubt, be extremely profitable for Ozzy and the guys! New streaming single They're gonna be here is Springfield for Rock Fest at the Prairie Capital Convention Center August 13th and now their new single is available to stream online. Hellyeah's latest album “Stampede” will be out July 13th with special edition downloads available and a DVD due out June 29th. But today, you can hear the new single "Hell of a Time" which was sent to rock stations yesterday. Hellyeah will be on the side stage for the Monster Energy Drink Uproar Festival which will be making a slight detour in Springfield at the PCCC. Most of the bands from Uproar will be at Rock Fest at the PCCC except for the headliner Disturbed. Hear the new Hellyeah single "Hell of a Time" below. Highway from hell Even rock stars get jerked around by the law once in a while. AC/DC's tour caravan was stopped on a remote Romanian highway by employees of the national road company. The drivers were accused of not paying a toll. They were told to pay 50 euros per vehicle which turned out to be around 2,500 euros before they could even leave the country. But, the band's caravan drivers claim to have never received receipts for the fine and now an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
