Back from vacation, the music minute reawakens!

Michaels admitted, released, and wins

It has been an intense 2010 for Bret Michaels: Everything from being involved in a celebrity reality show to having appendicitis and his brain bleeding with a sub-arachnoid hemorrhage ... leaving some people to think the Poison front man could have died. The Celebrity Apprentice was going to hold off on airing the final episode, which apparently was filmed live, until there was word of Michaels being better. Well after being in and out and in and out and back in, he miraculously was dismissed from the hospital for a third time in as many months and came back to the world ... even though he admittedly is only at 75 percent. After last night's airing of the finale it is now clear just how much of a bad ass Michaels is, because he indeed won the celebrity contest, beating out Sharon Osborne, Cindy Lauper, Sinbad, and even our ousted Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich! Even the other final contestant Holly Robinson's son was pulling for Michaels. Having had been diagnosed with diabetes since he was 5, Micheals chose to the American Diabetes Association to be the recipient of the $250,000 winnings.

Forthcoming TV show confirmed

On another television/rock-star note ... Steele Panther, the 80s metal lampooners are openly talking about their forthcoming show on Comedy Central and executives are being just as goofy. The loosely scripted mocu-drama is set to be out for Comedy Central's next television season. The band, fronted by former LA Guns front man, really grabbed popularity last year with their 80s metal tribute song “Death to All But Metal.” Comedy Central executives are on record claiming that now because of their efforts in rock and roll, they are solving world hunger.
