Did this unique form of Finnish rock just become a record company whore, doing the man's bidding? Why is the new stuff so happy and light when previous HIM material was dark and disturbing. In a recent interview with front man Ville Valo, the singer lashes out at accusations that his band sold out saying that Iron Maiden is poppy because they've sold hundreds of millions of records. This time, it wasn't the horrific incident of a killer wale drowning a trainer … nope not that. It was Poison front man and reality TV star Brett Michaels being rushed to the hospital that has Sea World in San Antonio making news. Just before a scheduled performance at Sea World, doctors urged Michaels to get to the hospital to deal with what was thought to be the flu. Michaels had been suffering from stomach pains the entire day before having to hit the stage. It wasn't the flu … it was actually acute appendicitis. So, Michaels was rushed into surgery and according to his handlers, he is recovering just fine. This will cause some, if not all, of his April tour dates to be postponed or canceled. Get better Bret!
