Teasing new Ozzy song

The latest attempt from the Dark Prince, Ozzy Osbourne, is nearing release. A sample of the first single “Let Me Hear You Scream” is now available through a YouTube clip and the entire song will be featured and premier on “CSI: NY” on April 14th on CBS. The scene the track will be used for in the show is during a prison riot, which the executive producer for the show said, after hearing the song, that the tune “exceeded … expectations and brought exactly the right tone to the episode.” The new album, now titled “Scream,” was originally called “Soul Sucka,” but after seeing negative criticism from fans online Ozzy decided to change it. Ozzy then allowed fans to pick the name of the new album. The album “Scream” will be out sometime in July, around the time that the legendary Ozzfest kicks off.

New track pack

Meanwhile, later this month, Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band players will be able to download a bunch of tunes from Ozzy's first band Black Sabbath. Originally, the track pack was supposed to be released last month, but that was delayed. All three platforms will have the track pack available for download April 29th. This is a pretty big deal as this is the first time the master tracks for Sabbath's “After Forever,” “Into the Void,” and “Sweet Leaf” will be made available for fans to play on a video game.

Inside look

Webisodes are a new advent with recent upgrades to the internet, and they allow for fans to get a glimpse of their favorite artists that generations of the past could have only dreamed about seeing. Well, the folks from In This Moment have released their second webisode showing a behind the scenes look at what's going on with the recording of their new album. The first “sode” showed the band's living quarters (including the bedroom of the smokin' hot front woman Maria Brink). This new “sode” goes even deeper into the making of their forthcoming album “A Star Crossed Wasteland.” (Since this story was first broadcast, the video has been taken down for unknown reasons ... Keep and eye out at Century Media's YouTube Channel for the new webisode from In This Moment ... in the meantime, check out the first webisode here.)
