March 30, 2010 Music News from the Rock Station, 92-7 WQLZ by Bishop It's been a decade Anymore, if you still dig Limp Bizkit's music, you keep that in the closet because Durst can be a little bitch at times. But, if you've been waiting for some new Limp Bizkit, your wait is just about over! This isn't some throw together Bizkit either--Wes Borland is back with the band. There are some audio teasers of the new stuff from Durst and crew and these samples are an extremely small fraction of the 18 songs fans have been itching for! Expect to see the album tentatively titled “Gold Cobra” sometime this summer. Getting settled Also, Stone Sour fans have a bit of a treat this new music Tuesday. Video has surfaced online of the band living and working together down in Nashville. Corey and crew are working diligently on their much anticipated follow-up to the 2006 album “Come What(ever) may.” The first official video from the band shows them getting settled in to Blackbird Studios down in Music City where they will soon start working with famed Rush/Alice in Chains/Foo Fighters producer Nick Raskulinecz ... who also worked on Stone Sour's 2006 album. Watch the video here. Still kicking ass He rocked the socks of you and I for decades and now he's saying he's gonna kick the hell out of cancer! Ronnie James Dio, with his magnificent voice and awesome stage presence, is dealing with one of the most horrific nuisances to the human race, cancer--and more specifically, stomach cancer. The 67-year-old began feeling symptoms around Halloween last year and got the checkup only to find out that the metal legend indeed has cancer and travels to Houston every two weeks for treatment.
