Part of the 33 1/3 series, Daphne Carr's book will focus on the early years of Trent Reznor's life growing up in a broken home out of Mercer, Pennsylvania, being a college dropout and then becoming one of the top selling artits of the 90s. “Pretty Hate Machine” will be out later this summer. Keep an eye out for that! Chicago show The last time they played a show in Chicago, it was after months of secret recording sessions and teasers about what was to come. Them Crooked Vultures debuted themselves as a live band directly following Lollapalooza last year in Chicago, months before their self-titled debut album was released. The band, consisting of Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, and John Paul Jones, have toured the world. Everywhere from New Zealand to Germany to New York and now the band will be playing a few shows here in the mid-west. They'll be playing a show May 17th at Indianapolis' Egyptian Room at Old National Center and in Chicago May 18th at the Aragon Ballroom.
