Felines and jesters

Soon, you may be able to checkout a live show featuring on stage some pussy cats and some wicked clowns. Canadian all-girl metal band Kittie will be supporting Detroit native Insane Clown Posse. A bunch of juggalos, juggaletts and metalheads will congregate in small venues around the country, which will surely concern parents near and far. ABC's Martin Bashir, the same guy who had that crazy documentary about Michael Jackson, sat down with the wicked clowns to talk about how, if at all, their music entices young people to commit violent acts (See the interview here). With painted faces and tattoos, more than likely covered in Fago soda, they clearly stated they are entertainers, and the greatest underground entertainers the states has ever seen. Meanwhile Kittie said, when announcing the supporting roll, that finally there is a band with enough balls to take them on tour. The two bands will be at the extremely intimate setting down at Pops in Sauget, Illinois, May 28th.

New single next week

Come Monday, you should be able to start hearing the new Stone Temple Pilots single, “Between the Lines” from the band's forthcoming album. A sample of the single was made available late last week to give fans a bit of a taste of what the new album will feel like. Some critics who heard the album at an exclusive listening party said it is a smooth, yet rocking album with a Beetles type feel to it. The full single will be available through the bands twitter page Monday. So, if you are an STP fan and are not on twitter, well be sure to sign up and follow STP so you can be one of the first people to download the news single.
