February 3, 2010 Music News from the Rock Station, 92-7 WQLZ by Bishop Dude could be replaced by a lady What are your thoughts about having a woman fill in for Aerosmith's Steven Tyler? Some people may say that there was already a chick fronting the band, but that's just silly as people pick on the very feminine characteristics of Tyler. But, Joe Perry, when asked, said the band hasn't yet thought of that. The question did, however, spark consideration from Perry to have a woman fill the man's shoes saying it's good to think outside the box (some people would say that Perry is thinking inside the box). Perry has worked with woman fronting with bands before Aerosmith and has nothing but good things to say. So it is possible that the aging, yet legendary crew could be fronted by a woman. Maybe they could get Liv Tyler to fill in for her father … She has the lips for it.
