June 29, 2009 Music News from the Rock Station, 92-7 WQLZ by Bishop Fox rocks The rock-and-roll keeps pumping on Fox News. With regular appearances from Ted Nugent, members of KISS and even the lead ghoul from the metal gore theater band Gwar, the cable news station welcomed none other than Creed to their programming. The band performed two songs on the popular morning show Fox and Friends Friday. A new album is being recorded and a tour is planned to kick off August 6th. Drunken a-holes There was a bunch of rockin’ and rollin’ going on at the Poison/Def Leppard concert in upstate New York, Friday. One dude wrestled a security guard after being forced from the show for goin’ No. 1 in the stands, another poked someone in the face multiple times … with his finger while a handful of others were just generally drunken a-holes. Altogether, 7 were arrested with charges of misconduct. New video Tomorrow is new release Tuesday and Alice in Chains will be giving their fans what they have been waiting for, a new video and increased anticipation for the latest from the bands after years of being idle.
