During the broadcast Friday May 14, 2010 at Leann's Parkway Cafe on N. Dirksen Parkway, the many hosts raised $7,200 from listeners for the Red Cross. During the broadcast, several hosts microphones were turned off and they were compelled to wear turkey suits and other non-flattering costumes in exchange for donations. Marine Bank matched dollar for dollar, up to $3,000, for the talk-a-thon. |
