So much to say, so little time. There are riots in Europe while the EU focuses on fishing regulation. The UN is split on human rights for homosexuals and the US takes over a UK nuclear weapons plant.

Russia could be hurt by low gas prices, according to the World Bank, so expect gas prices to go up in the near future.

The Fed is refusing to disclose the recipients of over 2 trillion dollars worth of assistance ... What was that about transparency? Maybe Madoff made off with a chunk of that.

Cheney and Rummy may have had more to do with torture and the admin previously disclosed ... even with orders being handed down, why do people follow them? Is the person evil in a situation, or does the situation make someone evil?

Days before the General Election, we will break down the run up to the current corporate controlled elections. The primaries, the polls, the candidates, the voters, the issues ... what is not being discussed or covered by the candidates and the main stream media.

How do you feel about the Constitutional Convention and the Reduction of the Sangamon County Board?

Green Presidential Candidate Cynthia McKinney visited Springfield alongside 2006 Green Candidate for governor, Rich Whitney, to "celebrate" the 56 Green candidates across Illinois. Touching on issues of the "war machine" vs. the education of humanity; special interests parties vs. power of the people. Though McKinney is considered radical in some of her views ... what can be said about the fringe being instrumental in bringing about REAL change ... and not change in the form of a campaign statement?

Lysander Spooner was a political philosopher of the individualist anarchist nature from the mid-to-late 19th century. He asked compelling questions about treason in his article submitted to the US Congress in 1867 titled "No Treason". Correlating America's revolution against Great Britain and what is needed to ensure power to the people now, how can we tie this into patriotism and overall general support for our "leaders"?

Saturday Session with Bishop goes live Saturday at 5p CST on 970 WMAY, the News and Talk of Springfield.

Joe Biden has made some very compelling comments lately. The Democrat Vice Presidential candidate is very much in tune with foriegn affairs being a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and also on the Foreign Relation Committee in the Senate. He recently mentioned that Barack Obama will be tested by the international community, if elected president. Biden equated the test Obama would receive to that of Kennedy. Kennedy was not dealing with small, petty foreign affairs ... there were nukes just of our coast! Let us not forget his statements on September 10, 2001 to the National Press Club about threats to America.

Is Biden on to something? Last week we discussed the need for continued vigilance in upholding civil liberties in the face of increased terror threats. Type "powder" into Google's news search, and you get this story, and this one, this one, and this one; all from different places! LA Calif. Police also says there will be a terror attack before the election!

It is obvious that the next president will be intimately tied to special interests and very well connected individuals. Even with third party candidates crying foul because of the corporate media control of the election process, people will still blindly follow the two party paradigm. Chuck Baldwin, the Constitution Party candidate, and Ralph Nader, the independent candidate blamed for giving the election to bush in 2000, held a debate Thursday night ... what are they saying that the mainstream media will not pick up on?

Also on Saturday Session: Anarchy vs. Democracy ... Where's the beef? Anarchist philosophy has almost been eradicated and extinguished, mainly because of the opposition to centralized control many anarchists hold. The arguments raised by anarchy hold quite a bit of water. Why is the minority opinion automatically discounted? What two views of reality does the anarchist point of view reveal?
