Mid-West Family Broadcasting Riverton, Illinois --- 02/2006-Present
On-air talent/anchor/reporter

• MWFB owns and operates four commercial radio stations out of Riverton, Illinois for the Springfield and surrounding market. Introduced through “Project Zero Talent” in late 2005 to begin an internship for WQLZ. Expanded to 3 stations, working on the air, in production, and with clients at remote broadcasts.
• Bishop on 92.7 WQLZ, the Rock Station – Co-host and producer for “The Morning Freak Show” (2006 – 2007). Morning drive news, sports, and weather during “The Free Beer and Hot Wings Morning Show” (2008-present) and weekend disc jockey playing active rock music with social commentary.
• Greg on Alice at 97.7, Springfield’s Music Alternative – Morning drive weather and news (2007). Weekend disc jockey playing adult contemporary and alternative music.
970 WMAY, the News and Talk of Springfield – Co-host for “Davis and Company” with former congressman Jack Davis (2007), co-host for a series of sponsored Let’s Talk programs (2007 – Present), host and producer for “Saturday Session with Bishop” (2006 – Present) and maintaining daily posts at www.bishoponair.com. Internship with news/program director Jim Leach reporting, writing, and anchoring stories (2008), anchor/reporter (2008 – Present). Among other responsibilities; maintaining podcasts for www.wmay.com and filming construction of new radio towers for a future documentary about WMAY (2008 – Present).

• Part of the Chancellor's division, supervised by Sherry Hutson.
• Developed multimedia projects for various university departments with slide shows and videos.
• Acting administrator for the Contribute Publishing Server, organizing users, and managing permission requests.
• Development of “DreamZrus” viral marketing campaign for UIS – www.dreamzrus.com (2007).

• The memoirs of Illinois politician Phil Rock, written with Ed Wojcicki.
• Helping gather biography information, verifying claims, and researching Illinois legislative history using house/senate journals, synopsis, and floor debates from the late 70s and early 80s.

OTHER EXPERIENCE

Ron Paul for President --- 2007-2008

• Acted as the coordinator for Springfield, Illinois’ Ron Paul campaign, working with the state director and other coordinators from around the state.
• Canvassed door to door, organized meetings with other supporters, and organized an online campaign to help the Illinois Patriots Political Action Committee fund raise to air commercials in the Springfield, Illinois’ market independently from the official campaign.
• Officially on the February 5th, 2008 primary ballot as a delegate for Congressmen Ron Paul in the 19th Congressional District of Illinois.

Lincoln Land Community College --- 2002-2005

• 88.3 FM WQNA, The Edge: Caffeine with Bishop, Tuesdays 6 – 9 am; Music, news, and weather for the student radio station at the Capital Career Center in Springfield, Illinois.
• The Lamp, LLCC Student Newspaper; 2nd place in opinion for “PATRIOT Act Not So Patriotic” Illinois Community College Journalism Association. Article available upon request.
