STOP ACTA & TPP

Stop ACTA & TPP! - Never use trade agreements to mess with the Internet!

They tried to push internet censorship through Congress and we stopped them with our STOP SOPA/PIPA protests. But the companies behind SOPA & PIPA have a backup plan: secretive trade agreements like ACTA & TPP. If we can't stop these backroom deals, the internet's future belongs to SOPA's backers. DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO SPREAD THE WORD, CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES, YELL FROM THE STREET CORNERS, ALL OF IT! You can start by using the form below to send a message. Saturday Session with Bishop

August 21, 2010

Your three hours of influence will be interrupted this weekend as WMAY makes room for NASCARĀ©. The show will be live however, but from 4 to 5:30 CST on 970 WMAY and online at http://www.wmay.com (click listen live). Since NASCARĀ© will take the AM airwaves in central Illinois, half of Saturday Session will be a best of and online only. But here are a few things Saturday Session will cover, and you're reactions are always encouraged. Be sure to have 217.629.7970 dialed and your live stream on at WMAY dot com.

Wiretapping Illinois

Is it illegal to videotape police in Illinois? What about taking snapshots or how about a covert, but in public, audio recording? Do peace officers working in the public capacity have a reasonable expectation of privacy? What is the Illinois Eavesdropping Act?

Well, The ACLU is fighting to answer some of these questions. Be sure to tune in tonight to hear about the suit brought up in Chicago and several other stories concerning your rights to hold people in the public domain accountable. They can tape and tap you in public, but you can't tape and tap them in public? We not only have lost our rights, America (and Illinois), we have lost our minds!

Speaking of wiretapping ...

Blago verdict

One hold-our juror will cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars! Who is this hold-out juror, Jo Ann Chiakulas, and how did she make it on the jury? Moving forward, prosecutors are demanding a speedy and quick retrial, but Blagojevich may want to delay it as long as he can so he can continue to play off reality TV's cheapened stardom to continue to taint the jury pool. This whole thing has been botched from the get go! Should there be a new approach to white-collar crimes?

Combat operations stop, but the GWOT's 'bout to pop

Any moment, a crisis could lead to conflict and America will have to step in (unless we change our foreign policy ... remember that word CHANGE?). After over 7 years in Iraq (based off prior existing war plans ... 9/11 was a great pretext), the final combat troops have withdrawn. This is great news ... or is it?

It must be understood what is really happening here. The US is now handing over security operations to 50,000 "advisors" and thousands of private contractors. One question about the mercenaries ... Would they not profit from continued chaos in that region require their "services" to be used even more? Meanwhile Afghan President Karzi is demanding that private contractors be removed from the country.

In a related note, while some reports indicate that an "unexpected" development in the Wikileaks saga now has the whistle-blower website founder being charged with rape and molestation, many knew that these types of character attacks were almost certain. Even if Assange is arrested, tried, and convicted, does that take away the impact that Wikileaks has on the public's perception of war?

Bilderberg in the mainstream

Nearly half of Cuba's Communist newspaper was taken up by Fidel Castro's thoughts about a book he read by Daniel Estulin all about the Bilderberg Group. This caught the mainstream media off guard to the point of complete stupidity and child-like rambling. Why does the mainstream write this story off? Not the story that an anti-hero world leader is expressing his concerns of the New World Order, but that the western world's elite get together every year in secret for policy decision discussions?

Be sure to tune in to Saturday Session with Bishop online after 5:30! During the online only best of segment, you'll hear a Saturday Session conversation with the author of several books about Club Bilderberg, Daniel Estulin.

Obama: the CIA asset?

If there is time, maybe we'll talk about the bizarre connections Obama's relatives have to the Central Intelligence Agency and what that means. This is pretty far out there and extremely dense stuff! Here are some preliminary reports from www.veteranstoday.com about Wayne Madsen's Obama "bombshell." Happy trudging!
