Big Slick
That's what we'll call her and devastation is what'll be left in her wake. The oil river in the Gulf keeps growing and growing with no end in site! Tune in to hear what the mainstream media seems to be skipping over in their reports. The government is seeking to hold the corporations accountable and they are shifting blame back and forth. But, who will hold the interior department accountable for their actions. Ultimately, those rubber-stamps are ecologically and economically devastating.
Free Speech
There are several stories (here and here) this week where a judge has ruled on whether or not a journalist should provide the law with their sources. Any practicing journalist will tell you that confidentiality is necessary for some stories to be published. A person's notes containing some of that confidential information is also extremely sensitive. The legitimacy of the story, however, is ultimately upon the journalist. Find out what the latest threats are against truly free journalism ... and yes, it transcends borders! Speech, in the form of journalism, must be protected at all costs!
Audit
Audit the Fed (well, kinda), audit All-Kids, audit the coroner! Every institution of government needs to be fully audited and vetted. It is now apparent that after years of complete and utter corruption, incompetence and malfeasance on all levels of government, institutions are collapsing. They want more of your money, but shy away from scrutiny? From the Federal Reserve to the Sangamon County Coroner's office ... Audit. Them. All!
