Rally recap
Today, down at the capitol building in Springfield, a rally was held to support the troops and to promote a non-interventionist foreign policy. Tune in to hear what third party candidates have to say about our current foriegn policy and how it needs to change. In attendance at the rally were Libertarians Lex Green (governor candidate) and Mike Labno (Senate Candidate). Also, Randy Stufflebeam, who is now running for senate of the Consitution party, was there to speak. In 2006, Green candidate for Governor Rich Whitney ran on a plan to bring home the Illinois National Guard troops. Listen tonight to see if he has the same plan this election season.
American Conspiracies
He's considered one of the most controversial and intimidating men in the mainstream media. Many outlets refuse to even acknowledge his new book and his point of view. But tonight on Saturday Session at 5p CST, Bishop welcomes the former navy seal, pro-wrestler, and Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura to the show. Tune in to hear Jesse discuss his new book "American Conspiracies" and the new season of his TruTV show "Conspiracy Theory". Saturday Session will have Jesse on for a full hour and may be able to take your calls. So, get your questions ready and call in at 217.629.7970.
In-depth
The 2010 Census is getting personal. Bishop called the 2010 Census hotline to get some answers and didn't get very far. First it was an automated service that screwed up and forward the call to someone who constantly had to look up answers to simple questions. Why is it necessary to gather more information than how many people live in a residence? What does race have to do with legislative redistricting? What does it matter if I rent or have a mortgage? Are any of these things constitutional? Find out tonight as Bishop plays for you his conversation with the 2010 Census hotline.
If there's time
What, you didn't hear? News on the March is a central part to Saturday Session. It highlights some of the stories the mainstream media may have skipped over so they can update you on celebrity gossip and the March Madness action. If there's time, tune in to catch News on the March. If not, get a list of all the stories Bishop shares (including some there is no time for) through Bishop's Shared Items from Google Reader.
